Anita Overcomer began her journey as a Christian Counsellor in 2000, completing her initial training at the former Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg). With more than two decades of counselling experience, she continues to pursue advanced training in new and effective methods of Christian counselling and inner healing.
Each counselling session is rooted in the Word of God, guided by the Holy Spirit, and infused with discernment, wisdom, truth, unconditional love, and grace. Anita’s holistic approach combines biblical principles with professional counselling techniques, empowering individuals to experience true emotional, spiritual, and relational freedom.

As an experienced Inner Healing Therapist, Anita uses proven, Spirit-led therapeutic tools to uncover and address the root causes of emotional pain and trauma. Many people attempt to manage symptoms (“pulling the plug”) without addressing the real source (“closing the tap”).
Anita helps clients go beyond surface-level solutions to identify and heal the root of their brokenness through forgiveness, emotional release, and spiritual restoration. Her unique approach doesn’t simply place a new “plaster” over old wounds—it gently opens, cleanses, and restores them so they can truly heal, leaving only a memory as evidence of growth and transformation. As a certified Emotion Code Practitioner and Quantum Healing Therapist, Anita integrates faith and science to bring complete healing—spirit, soul, and body. Every word God spoke created vibration and frequency—energy in motion. Emotions (energy in motion) are no different; they are energy that can become trapped through trauma, leading to emotional and physical imbalances.
Through muscle testing and prayer, Anita helps clients identify and release trapped emotions, restoring balance and wholeness. This method, free from New Age or Eastern influences, aligns with biblical truth and scientific understanding, offering a powerful form of Christian energy healing grounded in God’s design for the human body.
